How does Spring taste? We think of greens like asparagus, peas, fava beans, artichokes and fiddle head ferns. Crisp and sweet vegetables like these are making their seasonal debut in The Blvd today. We will also feature squash blossoms, a rare and delicate treat.
Other dishes you can expect to sample from the menu include John Dory, a mediterranean white fish, with a splash of citrus that’s perfect on a warm afternoon, and Colorado lamb with morel mushrooms for when the nights stay chilly. What’s for dessert? Berries! Pastry Chef Adam Thomas is converting his winter apple pie into a deconstructed berry cobbler with pineapple, and the lemon tart is evolving into key lime with yuzu.
We are continuing our mission to always be seasonal and whenever possible, local.More posts from March 2012
